This shop and its products have no affiliation with any of the doll brands or companies featured in the product photographs. All clothing items are independently designed and created for use with the dolls depicted.

Product Information

To ensure clarity and avoid copyright infringement, product listings rely on detailed photographs to accurately depict the doll clothing items for sale. Please review these images carefully before making a purchase.

• Note: Dolls and accessories are not included unless explicitly stated. The sale is exclusively for the described clothing items.

• Availability: Due to the limited availability of materials, items are produced in limited quantities. Once sold out, they will be marked as SOLD OUT.

• Sustainability: All garments are lovingly crafted using upcycled fabrics and off-cuts, contributing to sustainable practices.

 

⚠️ Collectors' and Hobbyists' Items: The products sold by Uptown Couture Designs Ltd. are intended for adult collectors and hobbyists (Ages 14+). They are not a toy and are not intended for children. The items contain small parts (rhinestones/fasteners) that could pose a risk if misused.

As a small business, we manage all operations—from design to customer service—within a specific schedule.

• Service Hours: 

  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 am – 7:00 pm (GMT/ UK Time)

  • Saturday: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm (GMT/ UK Time)

• Inquiries:  To ensure your request is tracked and resolved, please use the Contact Form on our website. Please note that Instagram is used exclusively for social media updates; we do not monitor Direct Messages (DMs) for customer inquiries.

• Required Information: When contacting us regarding an existing order, please provide the Full Name and Order Number to allow us to assist you promptly.

 

Order Modifications & Cancellations

We aim to dispatch all orders at the end of our working day.

• Deadlines: To ensure changes take effect, requests must be submitted via our website contact form before the end of our working hours (7:00 pm Mon–Fri / 4:00 pm Sat). Requests made after these times will not be seen before the order is dispatched.

• Cancellations: You may cancel your order for a full refund within 24 hours of purchase, provided the order has not yet been dispatched.

 

Delivery & Shipping

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and are based on the total weight of your order. While all items are ready for dispatch, please anticipate potential delays that may arise due to unforeseen circumstances with our shipping providers.

 

Multiple Orders Policy

To maintain operational efficiency and ensure compliance with tax regulations, please note our policy regarding multiple purchases:

• Separate Transactions: If the same customer places two or more separate orders on the same day, they will be processed as two separate, individual transactions for tax and shipping purposes.

• Shipping Fees: Each order will incur its own shipping fee. We do not provide refunds for shipping costs on multiple orders, as each transaction incurs non-refundable payment processing fees that we, as a small business, must absorb.

• Consolidation: While we may occasionally consolidate multiple orders into a single package for delivery efficiency, the individual shipping fees and tax treatments remain applicable to each original transaction.

 

Customs & Taxes

International buyers are solely responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or other fees that may be levied in their respective countries. We are not responsible for any delays caused by customs procedures.

 

Fabric Disclaimer

While we take great care in selecting materials, please be aware that certain fabrics, such as some denims, dark cottons, and specific red tones, may have the potential to stain dolls. To minimise this risk, we advise against leaving the clothing on dolls for extended periods and avoiding direct sunlight exposure.

Fabric Provenance & Sustainability

Please note we use upclycled fabrics that have been hand-selected and reclaimed from professional dry-cleaning and alteration boutiques in the UK.

• Source: Post-consumer premium apparel remnants.

• Quality Control: Every piece of fabric undergoes a rigorous inspection for stability, cleanliness, and dye-fastness before being transformed into doll fashion.

• Environmental Impact: By choosing to shop with us, you are helping divert high-quality textile waste from landfills and supporting a circular fashion economy.

Refund and Return Policy

Due to the handmade and limited-edition nature of our products, we generally do not accept returns or offer refunds. However, we understand that exceptional circumstances may arise and are happy to consider requests on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us as soon as you have received your order if you believe a return is warranted.

In accordance with EU Regulation 2023/988 (General Product Safety Regulation), Uptown Couture Designs Ltd is legally required to maintain technical documentation and traceability records for a period of 10 years after a product has been placed on the market.

To fulfill this legal obligation, we will securely retain your order information (including your name, contact details, and shipping address) for 10 years. This data is kept solely for the purpose of ensuring product safety, maintaining our traceability log, and enabling us to contact you effectively in the unlikely event of a product safety notification or recall. This processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject (GDPR Article 6(1)(c)).
